Positano,
characteristic town of the Amalfy Coast, known for its beauty and
architecture, where little white geometric shaped houses, which might look
like cubes with small openings and arches form a vertical town.In the past
Positano’s geographical formation saved the life of many during the
Saracen’s invasions. |
Born as a
fisherman town, and a rival to Amalfy, Positano is today a classy and
elegant place perfect for the holiday of a life time. |
Positano's
little streets and stairs all end up on via Pasitea, where many boutiques
and stores are located. Following via Pasitea down you will reach the main
beach where our main Cathedral is located. The S.S. Maria Assunta church is
known for its mosaic made of majolica. |

A stop
in Positano is obligatory for who loves refine extravagances: here great
hands covert unbleached materials into beautiful clothes, rich of fantasy
and colours, between a sailor and Arabic style. |
To reach the
most spectacular parts of the peninsula and one of the most scenographic
roads of Italy, from Positano you must take the “Strada Amalfitana”: opened
in 1853, from King Ferdinand II , the Strada Amalfitana has been built
digging along the coast, between 25 and 200 meters from the sea level. |
